This is the Sectera Edge, an NSA certified PDA that should also include among its advertised feature set: “UI disaster”
Obama has to use one of these for all official business.  Sometimes I feel sad about the state of our classified information networks.  It does not at all comfort me that this piece of crap little device can switch over to SIPRnet.  It seems the wall between SIPR and NIPR grows ever smaller.  The day SIPR goes the way of MILnet (i.e. integration) I think we’re likely to have a problem.  I mean SCADA’s bad and right now that’s just power grids, missile launchers need something a hell of a lot better and SIPRnet is not going in that direction…
